Rostrud Praises Implementation of International Training Program for Specialists from Burundi and Burkina Faso

The Federal Service for Labour and Employment (Rostrud) has expressed its appreciation to the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation for the successful implementation of the international professional retraining program “Labour Market Management and Employment” for representatives of the Republic of Burundi and Burkina Faso.

In an official letter addressed to the Rector of the Financial University, Rostrud commended the high standard of the educational process and the effective cooperation established between the University and the federal agency throughout the project. Particular recognition was given to the work of the University’s project team headed by Vice-Rector for Continuing Professional Education E.A. Didenko.

The letter emphasizes that throughout the entire period of training the African specialists, the Financial University team demonstrated a high level of professionalism, commitment, and the ability to promptly address non-standard challenges. Thanks to the joint efforts of the University and Rostrud, all stages of the program were successfully completed, including an in-person internship in Vladimir in April 2026.

The “Labour Market Management and Employment” program was designed to train specialists from relevant government agencies of friendly countries. It covered modern approaches to labour market regulation, the development of employment mechanisms, and improvements in public administration in the social sphere. The program concluded with participants presenting and defending their own projects aimed at developing national employment systems in Burundi and Burkina Faso.

The Federal Service for Labour and Employment also expressed its readiness to continue cooperating with the Financial University in implementing professional retraining programs for employees of relevant government agencies in friendly countries. The high praise received from the federal executive authority underscores the importance of the University’s international educational initiatives and their contribution to strengthening professional and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and African countries.
