Students of the Financial University received certificates upon completion of the "International News Journalism" program at the RT television channel's head office

On June 26, a ceremony was held at the RT television channel's head office to award certificates for the successful completion of the professional development program "International News Journalism" to students of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

Ahead of the ceremony, Ekaterina Mokeeva, head of the partner relations department at RT's educational projects service, gave the participants a tour of the channel's main building. The students were given a detailed overview of the channel's organizational structure — from editorial departments to the technical services that ensure round-the-clock broadcasting in multiple languages. Particular attention was paid to the specifics of how RT's various language editorial teams operate: participants learned about the nuances of covering international events, adapting content for different regions, and how correspondent bureaus interact across various countries around the world.

The students visited the studio where popular RT projects are prepared and filmed, and also toured the RT International newsroom, where they observed the recording process of a news program in real time. During the tour, the future journalists familiarized themselves with the work of the news anchor, the program director, and the editorial team — from the moment a story is selected to the moment it goes on air.
